A decade of watching children. One thing I could never unsee.
CHAPTER I — THE PERSON
I am a mother of two sons. But long before I became a mother, I became something else — a guardian. Over a decade in early childhood education, I had the privilege of being part of the earliest years of thousands of children, across Montessori, Waldorf, and special-needs classrooms.
I didn't just teach them. I watched them. How a new smell could shift an entire afternoon. How a change in fabric or texture could unravel calm in a child who was fine moments before. Every texture is an event. Every fragrance is information. Every touch is either a signal of safety — or a source of overwhelm.
I saw this thousands of times. And I couldn't unsee it.
CHAPTER II — THE TENSION
Every generation passes down what it knows. My mother's generation knew that coconut oil calmed and that bath time was bonding time. That wisdom is real. It holds. It deserves to be carried forward.
But the world our children grow up in has changed — longer ingredient lists, stronger fragrances, harsher climates, and labels that say "gentle" while the formulation says otherwise. So the modern parent stands between two worlds: the wisdom that says this is how we've always done it, and the midnight search that asks is this actually safe? That tension isn't confusion. It's instinct. And it deserved a real answer.
CHAPTER III — THE DECISION
I didn't start B.Bath because I saw a market gap. I started it because I spent a decade watching children — and then came home to my own sons and couldn't find a single product I felt completely at peace about.
So my husband Ganesh and I built one. Then five. Then a full system. He brought the rigour of chemical engineering; I brought fifteen years of observing what children actually need. Together we co-created every formula with dermatologists, pediatricians and over 200 families, clinically tested each one, and earned EWG Verified™ status across the entire range.
I'm not replacing what my mother knew. I'm continuing it — for a world she
never had to raise a child in.
B.Bath doesn't stand for baby bath. It stands for something deeper. Bonded

BA
Formulated to work with a developing skin barrier and sensory system — never against it.
TH
Clinically tested, dermatologist-approved, pediatrician-reviewed, EWG Verified™
Meet the Founders
Ishwarya Iyer
With a decade of experience in early childhood education, with Harvard Project Zero training and a decade building preschool networks and sensory safe classrooms. The conceptual and developmental foundation of B.Bath — the eye that learned, across thousands of children, how fragrance, texture, colour and touch shape a child's earliest years.
Ganesh Sahasranam
Chemical engineer who leads manufacturing and operations — translating developmental insight into formulations that are precise, safe, and consistently made. He holds the brand's promise at the level of the molecule.
Where This Story Goes Next
B.Bath is not only products. It's a family-care ecosystem-education, rituals, and sensory-safe design that makes daily care easier to repeat.
If you're tired of guessing, you're in the right place.
